Poultry and livestock farming wastewater primarily originates from the flushing of animal pens and animal excrement. Poultry and livestock waste water is a highly concentrated organic wastewater rich in pathogens. Direct discharge into water bodies or inappropriate storage locations is unsuitable, as it can lead to severe degradation of surface or groundwater quality when washed into the water by rain. Due to the strong phosphorus solubility of animal feces and urine, a large amount of phosphorus and water-soluble organic matter are present in the feces, which, if not properly handled, can contaminate groundwater through surface runoff and infiltration. Process Description: Wastewater, after being screened through a grid to remove larger suspended solids and impurities like hair, is directly fed into the primary sedimentation tank. This tank serves both as a sedimentation tank and a regulating tank to homogenize water quality and volume, while allowing insoluble solids such as undigested food and feces to settle. The settled water then flows into an anaerobic hydrolysis tank, where, under the action of extracellular enzymes of anaerobic bacteria, large molecular organic matter is hydrolyzed and acidified into smaller molecules, and most of the insoluble organic matter is degraded into soluble substances..After entering the contact oxidation tank, the water level is adjusted to the set level and then aeration begins to thoroughly mix the wastewater with the activated sludge. Once aeration ends and the sludge settles, the supernatant is discharged. When the sludge accumulates to a certain level, it is drained into the sludge tank. The treated wastewater then flows into the secondary sedimentation tank, where it is sedimented before being pumped to the filter for filtration. After passing through the disinfection tank, it is treated and meets the discharge standards.
