It is recommended to purchase the entrance door (security door) in advance before the construction begins.
② The replacement of the main entrance door will be done after the woodwork materials have been delivered, and protective measures will be taken to prevent the door from being damaged by bumps or collisions.
View Levels
Security doors are categorized into four levels: A, B, C, and D, with Level A being the highest. A Level A door can withstand destruction for at least 30 minutes, and note the "A" steel stamp on the door frame.
2. Check the filling
The core filling of anti-theft doors includes aluminum honeycomb, water-based foam, honeycomb paper, and rock wool (mainly used in industries such as fire-resistant doors). For residential anti-theft doors, aluminum honeycomb filling is recommended due to its superior soundproofing, heat insulation, and moisture-proof properties.
3. Door Panel Material
Cast aluminum, copper, zinc alloy steel plates, galvanized steel plates, and cold-rolled steel are available. Cast aluminum and copper doors are relatively expensive and are commonly used in villas for their grandeur. For residential use, zinc alloy steel plates can be chosen, with a plate thickness of not less than 2mm and a door thickness of not less than 90mm.
4. Door Lock
A, B, C levels, with C being the highest. The ideal combination is a C-grade lock for the main door. C-grade locks offer a minimum anti-theft time of 30 minutes, a minimum of 12 locking points on the door, and a main bolt projection length of no less than 16mm.
5. View Installation
Each side of the door frame and wall connection must have at least 3 anchoring points. Avoid using foam adhesive for the concrete mortar灌注 inside the door frame.
6. Focus on After-Sales
Make sure to ask about the warranty period before placing an order, whether it covers free repair or paid repair.
Do not pay the full amount upfront; make the final payment after the installation is completed and inspected.
