Concept and Application Process of Rainwater Harvesting and Utilization System

Roof Rainwater: Roof rainwater is relatively clean with minimal impurities, silt, and other pollutants. It can be directly discharged into the water storage system after overflow and simple filtration for treatment and use.

Surface Rainwater: Surface rainwater contains a high amount of impurities and has complex sources of pollutants. After runoff and coarse filtration, sedimentation is still necessary before it can be discharged into the water storage system.

System Application

1.Rainwater Harvesting System

Rainwater harvesting involves collecting roof, pavement, and green area rainwater into rainwater wells, where it is then collected and overflowed through分流 systems. The collected rainwater is initially treated through stormwater interceptors, flow-through, and filtration before being stored in a reservoir. After natural sedimentation in the reservoir, the water is further disinfected and can be used for various purposes, including landscaping, flushing toilets, road washing, vehicle washing, and replenishing scenic water bodies.

2.Rainwater Percolation System

Rainwater infiltration replenishes groundwater resources, improves the ecological environment, and supplements freshwater through reservoirs. 3.Rainwater Harvesting System

The rainwater retention system temporarily stores rainwater in a retention pond during heavy rain seasons. After the heavy rain subsides, the water from the retention pond is pumped into the stormwater drainage network.
