Product Introduction / INTRODUCE
A pressure spray dryer is a unit that can accomplish both drying and granulation simultaneously. The system employs a co-current pressure spray drying tower, where the liquid droplets flow in the same direction as the hot air within the drying chamber.
The liquid pump's pressure, flow rate, and nozzle size can be adjusted according to process requirements, producing spherical granules of the desired fixed size ratio.

PRINCIPLE
The dry medium air is heated and then, under the action of the blower, enters the tower through the hot air distributor at the top of the drying tower; the material to be dried is pumped into the spray gun by a high-pressure pump, forming fine mist droplets under high pressure. In the drying chamber, the hot air contacts the mist droplets, causing the moisture to evaporate and dry into a powder, which is collected at the bottom of the main tower and the cyclone separator.
Wet-gas exhaust is discharged into the atmosphere by an induced draft fan and then purified by a wet scrubber to remove exhaust particles.
Product Features/ CHARACTERISTICS
Supply Material and Atomization System
Composed of feed pumps, voltage regulators, high-pressure pipeline valves, and spray gun nozzle assemblies.
Our company offers a variety of orifice plates and vortex inserts for in-machine adjustment, ensuring compliance with the particle size requirements of our customers' products. The complete set of spray gun nozzles enables precise positioning of the nozzle in the stainless steel drying chamber. The spray gun nozzles are mounted from the top of the chamber downward, allowing for quick and easy removal and inspection at the appropriate location using a fixed mounting ring.
Hot Air System
Composed of high-efficiency air filters, supply fans, steam heat exchangers, and hot air ducts.
The steam heat exchanger employs a new type of finned heat exchange tube, with a base tube of Φ18×2 stainless steel pipe, densely wrapped with stainless steel fins, and an outer frame made of stainless steel material. The specific fin structure causes convection disturbance as air passes through the heat exchanger, thereby enhancing the heat exchange efficiency.
Drying System
Composed of a hot air distributor, a drying main tower, an observation manhole, an internal lighting system, and pneumatic hammer.
The hot air distributor is located at the top of the drying tower and utilizes a DCK-shaped hot air distributor. Its feature is that hot air enters the drying tower uniformly through a specific distribution structure, preventing turbulence and eddies. It ensures even and thorough contact with the high-pressure atomized liquid droplets, reducing dead zones, and improving the consistency of the material drying environment. The material is made of 304 stainless steel with a thickness of δ=2.
Product Collection System
Composed of a secondary cyclone separator, rotating discharge unit, induced draft fan, connecting pipes, etc.
The product collection system is designed for gas extraction inside the drying tower, to reclaim products and emit exhaust gases into the atmosphere. It effectively separates fine dust from the exhaust, resulting in clean emissions and ensures a specific limit of product recovery.
Due to the product's specificity, the dust collector cannot be used to collect the powder, hence a secondary cyclone separator is employed to enhance dust collection efficiency.
Airflow Cooling System
Composed of an air dehumidifier, air conveying pipeline, secondary cyclone separator, collection unit, air pump, etc.
Dried solid powder, due to its high internal temperature, cannot be packaged directly and should be cooled first. This system is configured to allow the product to be directly conveyed and cooled before continuous packaging into the storage bin.
Control System
PLC-based control system.
Includes main control point detection, display, and alarm functions.
