Gravity-free mixers can be broadly categorized into two types: a standard gravity-free mixer and a knife-cut gravity-free mixer. The latter is specifically designed for materials containing fibers, which are cut with knives before being mixed.

PRINCIPLE
The horizontal cylinder of the gravity-free mixer is equipped with double-shaft rotating paddles that move in opposite directions. The paddles, set at a specific angle, circulate and flip the material along the axial and radial directions, ensuring rapid and even mixing.
To reduce the cost of replacing easily damaged equipment parts, the blade can be made in two pieces. A removable small blade can be placed on the blade base, allowing for direct replacement of the worn-out small blade, which is economical and quick.
● The discharge form is generally pneumatic (manual) flip-disc valve, with the arc valve tightly fitted inside the cylinder, flush with the cylinder wall, free of material accumulation and dead corners.
● Standard models are available in large door and small door options. The large door opens to the drum edge, allowing for clean and quick material discharge with minimal residue.
Product Features/ CHARACTERISTICS
The rotating speed of the reducer-driven shaft, combined with the paddle blade structure, reduces the material's gravity. With the absence of gravity, the differences in particle size and density among various materials are overlooked during the mixing process. The vigorous stirring movement shortens the time required for a single mix, making it faster and more efficient. Even with differences in density and particle size, the material can achieve excellent mixing under the rapid and intense tossing and throwing action of the staggered arrangement of the stirring blades.
● The gravity-free mixer can achieve atomization operations below 17%, and materials with too high viscosity after adding liquid are not suitable. It can perform solid (powder) - solid (powder) mixing (particle size 300-2000um). Upon customer request, additional liquid spray and jacketed equipment can be installed, making it suitable for solid (powder) - liquid mixing (for equipment using less than 15% liquid content in mixing and drying). Mixing materials with significant differences in specific gravity and particle size does not produce stratification or separation. In a 1:1000 mixing ratio, the standard deviation is between 0.0003 and 0.0008.
Fast mixing speed, general powder mixing takes only 2-3 minutes, 1/4-1/10 of traditional mixers, low energy consumption. The machine operates intermittently, and the discharge valve uses a double-door design for material release, with manual and pneumatic discharge options. Materials available are carbon steel and stainless steel.

This equipment is widely used for drying and mixing powders such as dry powder mortar, chemicals, pesticides, detergents, pigments, food additives, monosodium glutamate, milk powder, salt, feed, chemicals, ceramics, plastics, rubber additives, etc.
