What are the startup steps for a YAMAHA pick-and-place machine?

(1) Start the equipment according to the safety operation procedures for technical equipment.
(2) Check if the pressure of the SMT machine reaches the equipment requirements, which is generally around 5 kg/cm².
(3) Activate the servo.
(4) Return all axes of the pick and place machine to the home position.
(5) Adjust the FT1000A36 pick and place machine's guide rail width according to the PCB width, ensuring the rail width is approximately 1mm wider than the PCB width, and allowing smooth sliding of the PCB on the rail.
(6) Set and install PCB positioning device:
Firstly, set the PCB positioning method according to the operational procedures, which generally includes needle positioning and edge positioning.
When using needle positioning, install and adjust the positioning needle according to the position of the PCB locating holes, ensuring the needle is precisely centered in the PCB's locating holes for smooth up and down movement.
If edge positioning is used, the position of the limiters and top blocks must be adjusted according to the shape and size of the PCB.
(7) Place PCB support pins according to the PCB thickness and dimensions to ensure even force distribution during assembly and prevent loosening. For double-sided PCB assembly, after the B-side is assembled, the position of the PCB support pins must be realigned to avoid the already assembled components on the B-side during A-side assembly.
(8) After the setup is complete, you can install the PCB and proceed with online programming or component placement.
