Installed at the top of the tower, its function is to remove droplets carried by the overhead gas, thereby improving the quality of the top distillate product. The full-diameter mesh demister significantly enhances the separation efficiency of the entire space, but unlike the drawer-type demister, it cannot be repaired and cleaned on the outside of the tower. Both the full-diameter mesh demister and the reduced-diameter mesh demister require entry into the tower for repair and replacement.
