Bricks obtained from raw materials such as clay, shale, coal gangue, or fly ash, through molding and high-temperature firing, are collectively referred to as sintered bricks, which are used for constructing load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls.
According to different raw materials, there are sintered clay bricks, sintered fly ash bricks, sintered shale bricks, and more.
Sintered common bricks refer to bricks with a density greater than or equal to 25% and void ratio less than 25%.
The production and use of common clay bricks in our country have a history of over 3,000 years. Today, common clay bricks still dominate the wall materials used in construction projects. Despite their numerous shortcomings, due to their low cost, simple technology, mature design and construction techniques, as well as people's usage habits, common clay bricks will remain one of the primary wall materials for quite some time, especially in rural areas.
