Preparation Phase
Inspect Equipment: Ensure the 6-inch diesel pump and its accessories are in perfect condition, with special attention to the pump's sealing performance to confirm no leaks.
Ensure oil preparation: As referenced in Article 1, add sufficient kerosene and diesel to the pump. Typically, kerosene should be topped up to the oil level indicator at "H," and diesel should be filled to approximately 12.5 liters. Be mindful that insufficient oil can lead to damage such as engine seizure.
Ensure water source readiness: Make sure the pump's intake is securely connected to the water source with no leaks.

Phase II: Initiation
Connect the battery: Follow the steps in Reference Article 1 to connect the red wire to the positive terminal of the battery and the black wire to the negative terminal.
Ensure that the pump casing is fully filled with water (or has water in it naturally) before starting the pump to prevent damage caused by the pump running dry.
Adjust Throttle: Open the throttle, loosen and press it down to the middle or one-third position, then tighten.
Connect the water pipes: Attach the pipes to the pump's outlet and ensure the connections are sealed properly.
Start Pump: Use a key or other starting device to activate the pump.
III. Operational Phase
Monitor Operation: During the pump's operation, pay close attention to its working condition to ensure there are no unusual noises or leaks, and be mindful of changes in key parameters such as water temperature and oil pressure.
Adjust Flow Rates: Flow rates of pumps can be adjusted according to actual needs. Generally, the further the water source or the larger the water volume, the higher the flow rate needed.
Four: Shutdown and Maintenance
Normal Shutdown: When a shutdown is required, first close the throttle, wait for the pump to stop running, and then disconnect the power.
Maintenance and Service: As referenced in Articles 2 and 4, to ensure the long-term stable operation of the pump, regular maintenance and service are required. This includes checking the oil, fuel, and coolant levels in the diesel engine, cleaning the air filter, inspecting and tightening the bolts of all components. Additionally, it is necessary to regularly replace consumable parts such as the oil and filter elements to ensure the pump's performance and lifespan.
That concludes the usage instructions for the 6-inch diesel pump.
