Pay attention to these points when using pure water equipment to effectively extend its lifespan.
Even if the high-pressure pump of the pure water equipment shuts down prematurely, it may lead to equipment malfunctions.
2. The inlet pressure of pure water equipment should maintain an appropriate margin.
To prevent scaling in the membrane, low-pressure water supply should be used instead of the water inside the pure water unit during start-up and shutdown.
4. Regularly monitor the differential pressure of the precision filter. A sharp rise in differential pressure is mainly due to leakage of turbidity in the precision filter. Conversely, a sharp drop in differential pressure is caused by damage to the precision filter elements and loosening of the securing screws of the precision filter elements.
When the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the pure water equipment exceeds the standard, it indicates that the membrane surface is contaminated or the supply flow exceeds the designed value. If the pressure difference cannot be resolved by adjusting the flow rate, the membrane should be cleaned.
6. During the summer, with high water supply temperatures and increased water flow, it may be necessary to lower the operating pressure, which can lead to a decline in water quality. To prevent this, the number of membrane modules can be reduced, while still maintaining a high operating pressure.
