Structure and Working Principle:

The hydraulic down-opening weir gate system primarily consists of weir gates, hydraulic systems, ultrasonic liquid level gauges, and control systems. For ease of maintenance in the future, a maintenance groove is usually provided in front and behind the weir gates.

The gate is driven and controlled by an opening and closing hydraulic cylinder, which can be equipped with an automatic control system. The liquid-driven gate can be operated automatically without human presence. Water from the upstream flows over the top of the gate. The gate can be raised or lowered as needed and can stop at any position to control the flow rate of water distribution or adjust the upstream water level. It can perform various functions such as flushing, water level control, and flow control.

The ultrasonic level sensor converts water levels on both sides of the weir gate into electrical signals for the control system. The control system drives hydraulic cylinders on both sides of the weir gate to slide the weir plate up and down in the guide slot. Rubber sealing components are installed on both sides and the bottom of the guide slot for sealing purposes (can be three-sided or four-sided sealing). The hydraulic cylinders are equipped with displacement sensors, allowing precise control of the weir plate to stop at any position. In the event of a power outage, the system can control upstream water levels, flushing, and anti-backflow functions.
