On clear days, all wastewater is channeled into the sewage pipes. During rainy days, initial rainwater containing sediment is collected. In heavy downpours, the weir gates automatically open, releasing low-pollution rainwater into natural bodies of water, thereby minimizing the impact of wastewater on these water bodies and achieving a stable improvement in water quality.

Principle of Equipment Operation
Solar hydraulic gates are in the normal state, with the rainwater outlet gate closed and the wastewater outlet gate open. The intercepting well discharges wastewater normally at this point. During the initial stages of rainfall, the water level in the intercepting well rises gradually, and the initial rainwater mixes with wastewater entering the sewage network. As the rainfall continues, once the water level in the intercepting well reaches the set liquid level, the rainwater outlet gate is immediately opened, and the wastewater outlet gate is immediately closed. At this time, the intercepting well performs its flood discharge function, with rainwater flowing into nearby rivers and lakes. As the rainfall decreases gradually, the water level in the well also drops over time. Once it drops to the designed liquid level, the rainwater outlet gate is closed, and the wastewater outlet gate is opened, restoring normal wastewater discharge.。
