The two-stage biological contact oxidation process employs plug flow biological contact oxidation, which offers superior treatment effects compared to complete mix or two-stage series complete mix biological contact oxidation ponds. It also has a smaller volume than the activated sludge pond, strong adaptability to water quality, excellent shock load resistance, stable effluent water quality, and does not cause sludge bulking. The pond utilizes new type composite fillers with a large specific surface area, facilitating easy attachment and detachment of microorganisms. Under the same organic load conditions, it achieves a high removal rate of organic matter and enhances the solubility of oxygen in water.
