Overview and Application
Industrial water filters are designed for filtering water in cooling systems and other water pipelines for industries such as power, chemicals, metallurgy, and papermaking. Specifically designed for industrial pipelines with a diameter less than DN500, this drainage filter comes in two types: manual and automatic drainage.
Prior to the pipeline in the water supply system, a primary filter is used for treatment. However, the treated water still contains some smaller debris, such as fine particulate matter and snails. If these accumulate to a certain extent without being removed from the water supply system, they can reduce the flow area, eventually causing blockages. In severe cases, this can lead to accidents of varying degrees and pose a threat to operation. Therefore, it is necessary to install secondary filters on large-diameter pipelines and industrial water filters on small-diameter pipelines.

(1) Manual Water Filter Structure and Performance Features:
A. Main Structure of Manual Water Filter

A. Main Structure of the Fully Automatic Water Filter

B. Full-Automatic Water Filter Performance Features
1. The structural design is rational, and maintenance is convenient. The core is an active mesh core, which can be disassembled for cleaning and replacement.
2. High water purification level, with high precision in filtering impurities. Filter impurities with a small size of 0.2mm, and can be customized to meet customer requirements for filtration accuracy.
3. Large flow area, with a flow rate of 2.5-4.0, increasing the sediment capacity and reducing water resistance.
4. Utilizing the vacuum backflush (or pressure backflush) principle for effluent discharge, it achieves fast and effective results, reducing industrial water loss.

C. Automatic Water Filter Operation
Industrial water filter operation methods include differential pressure control, timer control, remote command control, and on-site manual control.
1. Differential Pressure Control Method: The filter has a differential pressure transmitter (or differential pressure switch) installed on both the inlet and outlet sides. Users can set the differential pressure high setpoint (0.02-0.1 Mpa) between the inlet and outlet sides of the filter according to the operating conditions of the filtering medium. When the differential pressure exceeds the setpoint, the programmable controller issues a running command, the electric device and electric sewage valve activate, and the filter begins programmed cleaning and sewage discharge. After the programmed cleaning is completed and the differential pressure returns to normal, the programmable controller sends a stop command, and the electric device and electric sewage valve close. This cycle allows the filter to operate automatically without human attendance. Parameter settings and data display can be achieved through a text display.
2. Scheduled Auto-Cleaning and Waste Discharge: Users can set the auto-cleaning and waste discharge schedule according to the filter medium (e.g., every 30, 60, or 120 minutes; the time interval can be customized). The duration of the cleaning and waste discharge process can be set from 40 to 120 seconds or longer. Upon reaching the set time, the programmable controller sends a start command, triggering the electric unit and electric waste discharge valve, which activate the filter to begin cleaning and waste discharge. After the programmed cleaning cycle is completed, the programmable controller sends a stop command, shutting down the electric unit and electric waste discharge valve. This cycle allows the filter to operate automatically without human supervision.
3. Remote Command Control for Cleaning and Sewage Discharge: The control cabinet is equipped with a remote control interface, allowing operators to remotely control the start or stop of the filter's cleaning and sewage discharge operation from the central control room.
4. Manual Cleaning and Drainage: Use the operation buttons on the control panel to manually initiate the operation of the filter water control system for cleaning, drainage, and shutdown at any time.
5. Manual mechanical rotation cleaning and drainage: Full manual operation for cleaning and drainage, utilizing the electric device and the manual handle on the electric drainage valve for operation.
Ordering Instructions
1. Provide industrial water filter precision requirements.
2. Inform of the industrial water filter installation's pipe diameter, pressure, and flow rate.
3. Determine if the industrial water filter is manual or electric.
4. Industrial Water Filter Installation and Maintenance
1. Pay attention to the location of the filter's inlet and outlet pipes and the drain pipe during installation. A regulating valve should be installed at the inlet and outlet pipe locations.
2. The electrical control box should be mounted near the water filter.
3. The filter water pump electrical control box includes a detailed terminal diagram. During installation, follow the terminal definitions to connect the corresponding circuits.
4. Prior to water supply, activate the manual cleaning button and check if the water filter reducer and drain valve operate correctly.
5. Close the outlet valve and the drain valve of the filter waterer, gradually open the inlet valve, loosen the exhaust screw, vent the air inside the filter waterer, then tighten the exhaust screw after venting. Check for any leaks at the connection points.
6. After confirming the water filter is in good condition, open the outlet valve and put the water filter into normal operation.
7. Generally, water filters require no daily maintenance. They can be inspected and maintained during major overhauls of the equipment.
