Introduction to the Working Principle of Used Drum Dryer
The drum dryer is composed of a heat source, a discharging device, a belt feeder, an inlet machine, a rotating body, a throwing plate, a belt discharge machine, an induced draught fan, a discharge hopper, and an electric control cabinet.
The heat source for this dryer comes from the combustion unit, and it utilizes a countercurrent heating method. As a result, the material to be dried enters the drum via the feed bin and chute, being propelled backward by the spiral agitator. Due to the inclined placement of the dryer, the material moves backward under the influence of gravity and rotation, while also being repeatedly lifted by the agitator to the top and then sprinkled down continuously, forming an even curtain inside the drum. This allows for a thorough heat exchange with the hot gas stream inside the drum. As the material is repeatedly sprinkled, the moisture content is gradually dried out, achieving the drying goal. Our dryer is equipped with reasonable operating parameters, resulting in a reduction of 10-15% or more in fuel and electricity consumption compared to general dryers, and an increase of 10-15% or more in hourly production capacity. It has been widely applied in cement and ore selection enterprises.
(3) The drying feature boasts high processing capacity, low fuel consumption, and low drying costs, with strong scalability and design considerations for production surplus. Even with reduced output, no equipment change is required. The dryer utilizes a self-aligning roller structure, where the tight fit between the roller and the ring significantly reduces wear and power consumption. The specially designed wheel structure greatly reduces horizontal thrust caused by equipment tilt, offering strong load-bearing capacity, smooth cylinder operation, and high reliability.
