Natural stone is categorized into slate and granite based on its physical and chemical properties. Artificial stone is divided into terrazzo and composite stone. Terrazzo is formed by forging materials such as cement and concrete; composite stone is made from crushed natural stone, mixed with adhesives, and then compressed and polished. The latter two are man-made, thus their strength does not match that of natural stone.
