Aluminum alloy glass guardrails should comply with the following specifications:
1. Railings should be made of sturdy, durable materials and capable of withstanding horizontal loads as specified by the load-bearing standards.
2. When the elevation is below 24 meters, the height of the railing should not be less than 1.05 meters. For elevations of 24 meters and above (including mid to high-rise residential buildings), the railing height should not be less than 1.10 meters; Note: The height of the railing should be measured from the floor or roof level to the top of the railing handrail, and if there is a treadable area at the bottom with a width of 0.22 meters or more and a height of 0.45 meters or less, the calculation should start from the top of the treadable area.
Section 3: It is not advisable to leave an empty space within 0.10m of the height from the balustrade to the floor or roof surface.
4. Railings for residential buildings, nurseries, kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, and children's activity areas must be designed to prevent children from climbing. When using vertical bars as railings, the clear distance between the bars should not exceed 0.11 meters.
5. Cultural and entertainment buildings, commercial service buildings, sports buildings, garden landscape buildings, etc., which allow minors to enter for activities, should not have vertical bar components with a clear distance greater than 0.11m when used as railings.
