Property:

White, light-colored crystalline or powdered substance; stable in air; soluble in water (22.6g/100ml); insoluble in ethanol; hygroscopic. Melts into a transparent liquid upon heating to 400°C, then solidifies into a translucent glassy metakispochloric potassium upon cooling.

(1) Industrial Use:

1. Flame Retardant: Dry chemical fire extinguisher, flame retardant for fabrics, wood, and paper, and fire retardant for the dyeing and printing industry. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate decomposes at a low temperature, forming glassy polyphosphoric acid potassium upon decomposition, which can create a dense protective layer on the surface of burning materials, isolating oxygen and providing excellent fire suppression. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate has a low moisture absorption rate, aiding in the storage of ultra-fine dry chemical fire extinguishers.

2. Textiles: Printing and dyeing detergents, silk weighting agents,媒染剂 for manufacturing reactive dyes, and also used as fabric weighting agents.

3. Water Treatment: Industrial Water Treatment Agents, Water Softeners.

4. Welding Industry: Welding flux, used in welding and brazing instead of borax.

5. Reagents: Used for analytical reagents and pH standard reagents, hydrogen peroxide bleaching stabilizer, neutralizer, antibiotic culture medium, buffer, and bacterial culture medium.
