Employees must hold the relevant special operation certificates issued by the local labor department, operate with the certificates, and wear protective gear before starting work.

Each time a crane is used, the user must obtain approval from the production dispatch department; unauthorized operation of the crane without proper authorization is not permitted.

3. Each time before using the crane, inspect the control unit, brake, hook, wire rope, safety devices, and all lubrication points, ensuring they are in good condition before proceeding with operation.

4. Hoist operators must wear fiberglass safety helmets (not the lightweight ones commonly used); 5. Crane operators should follow only one set of instructions; when multiple commands are given, operations should cease; 6. When giving commands, operators are not allowed to wear gloves; hand signals must be clear, and signals must be explicit. If unclear or incorrect signals are detected, the operator has the right to refuse to execute.

7. Crane operators must follow the instructions of the hook lift personnel and strictly adhere to the lifting and hoisting signals, but must immediately stop when any emergency stop signal is given by anyone.

8. Crane operators should sound the bell for 3 to 5 seconds before lifting and moving, and there must be no one underneath the crane arm or the load being lifted.

9. No lifting, horizontal, or longitudinal operations are permitted when the load is not securely stabilized; 10. Heavy loads should be moved along the aisles, and it is strictly prohibited to pass over people and equipment; 11. Prior to lifting, the weight of the load must be known. When the weight of the load approaches the load limit of the overhead crane, a trial lift of half a meter should be conducted first, and the brake should be checked for reliability. Overloading lifting is strictly prohibited.

When the crane is nearing the end of the terminal, the hook is approaching the limit switch, two trucks are adjacent, or other obstacles are encountered, the speed should be reduced to ensure that immediate stopping is possible at any time.

During work breaks, suspended loads must not remain suspended in the air.

14. During operation with an empty hook, the crane hook should be raised to a higher position before operation; 15. During lifting operations, there should be a person on the ground following, and someone to straighten it if necessary; 16. For cranes with a cabin, the operator must enter and exit the cabin at designated locations.
