The hollow-rotary platform is widely used in CNC machine tools, computer peripherals, automatic recorders, automatic production lines, printing equipment, and more.
We can directly install workbenches and robotic arms on the rotating platform. Compared to pulleys and other mechanical components, this can reduce the time and cost of mechanical design, component configuration, and belt condition adjustment.
The hollow shaft motor offers customizable configurations, allowing for flexible interface size changes through the use of custom flanges and input shaft bores. It is compatible with servomotors and stepper motors from any brand. Additionally, its high precision in repeatable positioning stands out. The hollow shaft is equipped with helical gears for reduction, enhancing output torque. Some gears achieve a 2nd-grade precision, resulting in minimal backlash and repeatable positioning accuracy below 10 arcseconds.
Hollow structural design
The hollow rotating platform features a hollow disk, with the servo motor mounted on the side for convenient installation of internal pipes and wires for smelting tools.
High Repetition Positioning Accuracy
The Hollow Platform utilizes a single-stage helical gear reducer to increase output torque, with gear precision at level 5 or below. Additionally, the flexible clearance adjustment mechanism controls lateral clearance by altering the center distance between two gears, resulting in minimal back-rotation for the hollow disk and repeat positioning accuracy below 5 arc seconds.
High rigidity
The turntable of the hollow rotating platform is supported by a set of precision crossed roller bearings. The rollers in the bearings are arranged at a 90-degree angle to each other, with the roller diameter slightly larger than the size of the raceway between the inner and outer rings of the bearing, creating a preload between the inner ring and the rollers. Consequently, the turntable of the servo turntable supported by the bearings can withstand various torques such as radial, axial, and overturning, with a stiffness over 10 times that of traditional bearings.
High rotational accuracy
Upon completion of the servo platform assembly, the outer diameter and end face of the turntable are re-polished using the cross roller bearing of the platform as the rotational center (standard grade is precision turning), ensuring the concentricity and parallelism of the turntable's positional tolerances.
Motor configurations
The hollow rotating platform can be flexibly adjusted in interface size through customized flanges and input shaft holes, suitable for connecting servo motors and stepper motors from any brand.
