XPS insulation boards have a low thermal conductivity coefficient, with an average value of 0.034 W/mK at 0°C, and a high surface heat transfer coefficient of 9.5 W/M2k. Therefore, under the same environmental conditions, their thickness is over half that of other insulation materials, saving space above the ceiling joists and thus increasing the usable floor space. XPS insulation boards are very safe to use; they do not irritate the skin or harm health.

They prevent mold growth, deter pests or rodent chewing, and are acid and alkali resistant with excellent performance. These properties make rubber and plastic the ideal insulation material for protecting pipelines, preventing corrosion due to atmospheric or industrial environments.
