Seamless square tubes are steel pipes with four right angles, formed by cold drawing and extrusion from seamless steel pipes. They have an essential difference from welded square tubes. These pipes feature a hollow cross-section and are extensively used as pipelines for conveying fluids.
Welded square hollow section steel is a type of hollow square cross-section steel, also known as cold-formed hollow section steel. It is manufactured by cold bending hot-rolled or cold-rolled strip or coil into a square shape, and then high-frequency welded into the desired size and shape of square cross-section steel.
Thick-walled square tubes, in addition to increased wall thickness, also meet or exceed the dimensional accuracy and edge straightness of resistance-welded cold-formed square tubes. The size of the R-angle is generally 2 to 3 times the wall thickness. We can also produce R-angle square tubes in sizes as required by the customer.
Secondly, seamless square steel tube is a long strip steel with a hollow cross-section and no seams along the edges. It is formed by extruding through a mold with seamless pipes, resulting in a square tube with a hollow cross-section. It is widely used in liquid conveyance, hydraulic supports, mechanical structures, medium and low pressure, high-pressure boiler tubes, heat exchangers, gas, oil, and other industries. It is stronger than welded tubes and does not crack.
