5A05 Aluminum PlateAl-Mg series corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy, not heat-treatable for strengthening. This alloy has a higher magnesium content, resulting in lower strength, similar to 5A03 aluminum plate. Cold deformation of the alloy can enhance strength but reduce plasticity. The plasticity is high in the annealed state, and still acceptable in the semi-cold work-hardened state.5A05 Aluminum PlateAlloys offer good corrosion resistance and fair weldability, suitable for spot welding, atomic hydrogen welding, gas welding, and argon arc welding. Their machinability is poor in the annealed state, but fair in the semi-cold worked-hardened condition.
5A05 Aluminum PlateTypically used for manufacturing welded pipes with high process plasticity, excellent corrosion resistance, and moderate load-bearing capacity, as well as for welding oil tanks and other liquid containers, and other parts; the wire material is used for electrodes and rivets, with the rivets requiring anodizing treatment. Overseas, similar alloys (such as 5456) are used to produce armor plates, high-strength structural components, storage tanks, pressure vessels, and marine hardware parts, among others.
