Core Technology

Technical Specifications
3D Optical Static Deformation Measurement System, utilizing standard DSLR cameras (non-metric cameras), reconstructs the three-dimensional coordinates of critical points on the workpiece surface through multiple two-dimensional photographs, based on the principles of industrial close-range photogrammetry. By comparing measurement coordinates under multiple quasi-static conditions, it obtains descriptions of the related deformation. The equipment can serve as a static deformation observation device for analyzing deformation data under quasi-static conditions, as well as a portable 3D coordinate system for extracting three-dimensional point coordinates of key points on medium to large-sized (several to dozens of meters) complex curved objects in industrial measurements.
The system is primarily composed of high-performance single-lens reflex cameras, encoded and non-encoded markers, rulers, computers, and the corresponding analysis software.
System Advantages
When the system is used as a portable 3-axis coordinate measuring machine, compared to traditional 3-axis measuring instruments:
(a) The equipment has no mechanical stroke limit and is not restricted by the size, volume, or shape of the object being measured.
(b) Measurement and error checking can be performed on-site without interrupting the production line.
(c) The product does not require time for transportation to a 3-axis measurement room for measurement, and can even be operated in outdoor environments.
When the system is used as a static deformation measurement device, compared to traditional methods:
(a) Simple equipment with no complex mechanisms; only a single-lens reflex camera and several marking points are required on-site, suitable for a wider range of operating conditions.
(b) The deformed object for measurement has no specific size or shape requirements; it can be large or small, flat or curved, as long as it is within the camera's shooting range.
(c) Single experiment cost is low, allowing for repeatable calculations and observations, as well as remote viewing of experimental data and results.
