详情描述
Our company primarily produces brass plates and strips. Brass is the pure copper, a sturdy, malleable, and ductile metal with a purplish-red, lustrous appearance. Due to its rose-red hue, the surface turns purple upon oxidation, hence the name "brass." It is copper containing a certain amount of oxygen, also known as oxygenated copper. Brass is industrial pure copper with a melting point of 1083°C, no allotropy, a relative density of 8.9, and is about five times denser than magnesium. Its mass per volume is approximately 15% heavier than ordinary steel. Brass boasts excellent weldability and can be cold and hot formed into various semi-finished and finished products, named for its purplish-red color. It is not necessarily pure copper; sometimes, small amounts of deoxidizing elements or other elements are added to enhance material properties, thus classifying it as a copper alloy. In China, brass processing materials can be divided into four categories based on composition: common brass (T1, T2, T3, T4), oxygen-free copper (TU1, TU2, high purity, and vacuum oxygen-free copper), deoxidized copper (TUP, TUMn), and special copper with trace alloying elements (arsenic copper, tellurium copper, silver copper). Brass has excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, second only to silver, and is widely used in the production of conductive and heat-conducting equipment. Brass exhibits good corrosion resistance in atmospheric conditions, seawater, certain non-oxidizing acids (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid), alkalis, salt solutions, and various organic acids (acetic acid, citric acid).
