Our company primarily produces copper sheets, strips, and rods. Copper, also known as pure copper, is a robust, malleable, and ductile metal with a purple-red luster. Due to its rose-red hue and the purple oxide film formed on its surface, it is commonly referred to as "brass." It is a copper alloy containing oxygen, hence also called "oxygen copper." Brass is industrial-grade pure copper with a melting point of 1083°C, no allotrope transformation, and a relative density of 8.9, which is five times that of magnesium. Its mass per unit volume is about 15% heavier than that of ordinary steel. Brass has excellent weldability and can be cold and hot-processed into various semi-finished and finished products, named for its purple-red color. It may not be pure copper; it often contains a small amount of deoxidizing elements or other elements to enhance material properties and performance, thus it is also categorized as a copper alloy. Copper products in China can be classified into four categories based on composition: ordinary brass (T1, T2, T3, T4), oxygen-free copper (TU1, TU2, high-purity, and vacuum oxygen-free copper), deoxidized copper (TUP, TUMn), and special copper with a small amount of alloying elements (arsenic copper, tellurium copper, silver copper). Brass has second only to silver in electrical and thermal conductivity and is widely used in the production of conductive and heat-conductive equipment. It also exhibits good corrosion resistance in atmospheric conditions, seawater, certain non-oxidizing acids (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid), alkalis, salt solutions, and various organic acids (acetic acid, citric acid).

Heat Treatment Specifications:

Heat treatment temperature: 900~1050℃; Annealing temperature: 500~700℃;

The recrystallization start temperature for cold worked hardened copper is 200~300°C.
