Oxygen-Free Copper Tubing; Brass Tubing; Bronze Strip; Red Copper Strip

Our company specializes in producing copper sheets, strips, and rods. Copper, also known as "red copper," is a purplish-red, lustrous metal that is hard, soft, and highly malleable. It is named "red copper" due to its rose-like color and turns purple upon oxidation. It is a copper alloy containing a certain amount of oxygen, hence also referred to as "oxygen copper." Red copper is industrial pure copper with a melting point of 1083°C, no allotrope transformation, a relative density of 8.9, and is about five times denser than magnesium. Its weight per unit volume is approximately 15% heavier than that of ordinary steel. Red copper has excellent weldability and can be cold or hot-processed into various semi-finished and finished products, named for its purplish-red hue. It may not be pure copper; sometimes, a small amount of deoxidizing elements or other elements are added to enhance material properties and performance, thus categorizing it as a copper alloy. In China, red copper processing materials can be divided into four categories based on composition: ordinary red copper (T1, T2, T3, T4), oxygen-free copper (TU1, TU2, high purity, and vacuum oxygen-free copper), deoxidized copper (TUP, TUMn), and special copper with a small amount of alloying elements (arsenic copper, tellurium copper, silver copper). Red copper has a conductivity and thermal conductivity second only to silver and is widely used in the production of conductive and heat-conductive equipment. It also exhibits good corrosion resistance in atmospheric conditions, seawater, certain non-oxidizing acids (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid), alkalis, salt solutions, and various organic acids (acetic acid, citric acid).
