The installation forms of wind tunnel-type explosion-proof electric heaters generally include the following:
1. Installation Coordination
2. Plug-in installation;
3. Installation by section;
4. Entry installation and other installation methods.
Users can choose from various suitable installation methods based on their own actual situations.
The explosion-proof electric heater with air duct design is typically made of stainless steel or galvanized plate for its shell due to its special nature, and the heating section is usually made of stainless steel as well. Therefore, when selecting, it is necessary to specify if the material is carbon steel, to ensure the quality of installation and the service life.
In terms of control, an interlock device must be installed between the fan and the heater to ensure the heater starts after the fan is operational. After the heater ceases operation, the fan must continue to run for at least 3 minutes to prevent overheating and damage to the heater. For single-loop wiring, compliance with NEC standards is mandatory, with each circuit's current not exceeding 48A. The gas pressure heated by the channel heater is generally no more than 0.3 kg/cm2; for pressures exceeding this specification, please choose a recirculating heater. The high-temperature of gas heating for low-temperature heaters does not exceed 160℃; for medium-temperature heaters, it does not exceed 260℃; for high-temperature heaters, it does not exceed 500℃.
