The COD online automatic monitor is a crucial instrument for industrial wastewater monitoring. It is an essential piece of equipment for water pollution control, as industrial wastewater is a major source of water pollution. However, due to certain characteristics of industrial wastewater, traditional chemical analysis methods are no longer suitable for rapid and simple detection. The COD monitor that enables real-time online monitoring has become indispensable. The installation location of the COD online automatic monitor has specific electrical requirements, as follows:

Single-phase AC power: Voltage: 220V ±15% AC (installation specifications require 220 ± 20), Frequency: 50 Hz ± 5% (installation specifications require 50 ± 0.5), Power: 5kW, must have good grounding. Equipped with at least 5 three-prong outlets and 2 two-prong outlets, mounted at a height of 1.2 meters, or with two multi-functional power strips that can expand to accommodate pumps, computers, and other electrical appliances, with room for future equipment additions.

For areas with unstable voltage and frequent power outages, it is recommended to use a power-matching AC voltage stabilizer to protect the equipment.

3. Grounding is crucial not only for safety reasons but also to prevent external interference from entering the instrument's internal circuitry. It must be done correctly. Note that the ground wire should be installed separately and should not be connected to water pipes, gas pipes, lightning rods, or similar.

Important Considerations for the Installation and Commissioning of the COD Online Automatic Monitor

Upon unboxing, verify the quantity and quality of the main unit and accessories against the packing list.

Install the试管架 according to the assembly diagram for the试管架 holder.

Before powering on the main unit, inspect for any abnormal visual phenomena.

4. Upon powering on, the digital tube on the top of the instrument displays the temperature measured on the heater side, while the digital tube on the bottom shows the instrument's set constant temperature. The set temperature of the instrument can be modified as needed (the factory setting is 180℃). To do so, press the SET button to enter the setting mode, then use the blinking position and directional keys to set the desired temperature.

After a certain period of heating, the instrument reaches a constant temperature and can then proceed with the relevant tests.
