Rotary Grating Cleaning Machine Structural Design
1. Drive Mechanism
The drive unit employs high-quality reducer series provided by a national large enterprise, featuring a compact structure, easy assembly and disassembly, large transmission ratio, high efficiency, shock resistance, reliable operation, and long service life.

2. Drive Roller Chain
Precision roller chains are used for the drive sprocket chain, ensuring smooth operation and high efficiency.
3. Drive shaft
The drive shaft is subjected to both bending and torsional forces. Seamless stainless steel tubes with excellent corrosion resistance and good welding properties are selected. After assembly, stress relief treatment is performed. The shaft surface is Ni-P treated, achieving a surface hardness of HRC45 or above, and is resistant to mud and sand abrasion.
4. Bearings
Select waterproof, dustproof, wear-resistant, self-lubricating rolling bearings that can withstand radial and axial forces, with a service life of not less than 100,000 hours.
5. Rake chain
The scraper chain utilizes sleeve-type flat roller chain. Considering the harsh working environment of the cleaner, the chain is submerged in water for years, with a high presence of sludge and sand particles, its safety factor is no less than 8. The chain plates are made of stainless steel stamping, and the pins are made of high-strength stainless steel, all of which have been solution treated.
The chain sprockets are made of high-strength and wear-resistant stainless steel, which meets the chemical composition and mechanical properties of GB1384-88. Non-destructive testing is conducted on the castings.
At the same time, considering the grid is welded, which inherently has low precision, to prevent the chain from derailing due to misalignment, tapered roller wheels are used. When track gauge deviation causes the chain to shift axially, the unique design of the roller wheels compensates and resets it. Moreover, there is a large amount of tangled debris in the water body. Chain guards are installed at the upstream section (adjacent to the grid bars) to provide effective sealing protection for the chain.
Water main chain wheel, stress relieved and precision cut, excellent in transmitting motion, shock-resistant, wear-resistant, and rust-free. To prevent debris entanglement, a light wheel (without grooves) and protective cover are used underwater.
6. Mesh panel
Grille Cleaning MachineThe grid is constructed with a welded structure to ensure adequate strength and rigidity, with deflection not exceeding 5mm at the designed water level difference.
Overload Protection
To ensure the high reliability of the cleaner, both mechanical and electrical overload protections are implemented.
Mechanical process protection utilizes a simple and reliable safety pin locking device. In the event of a foreign object jamming or other accidents, the sprocket and chain fail to operate normally, the torque exceeds the designed torque, the safety pin breaks instantly, the hub sprocket timing is delayed, and although the motor is running, the rest of the equipment has stopped functioning, effectively protecting the equipment from damage.
Overload protection is achieved through an electronic overcurrent protector. During the normal operation of the decontamination machine, a current value is set. When the equipment's overload exceeds this set value, the protector activates to disconnect the power supply and trigger an audible and visual alarm.
8. Corrosion Prevention
Surface treatment, excluding stainless steel materials, is in accordance with the requirements of "Code for Corrosion Prevention of Hydrological Metal Structures."
The product undergoes zinc spray treatment, with a coating thickness of 160um. It is then coated with two layers of 842 epoxy cloud corrosion rust prevention paint, ensuring a dry film thickness of no less than 60um. Subsequently, two layers of chlorinated rubber topcoat are applied, with a dry film thickness of no less than 80um. The requirement is that the local thickness of the composite coating should not be less than 280um.
9. Grille Cleaning Machine SetThe control box has an IP55 protection rating, features a reliable grounding device, and includes a clear grounding sign. The housing is made of high polymer electrostatic spray, offering strong corrosion resistance and good weather resistance. Signal lights are set on the control panel to indicate the operation status of the dust cleaner, fault signals, and voltage indicator lights, showing its power status.
