Wastewater Lift Pump Installation and Commissioning
1Before Installation:
(1You must carefully read the user manual to avoid misuse and damage to the machine. Ensure the pump selection is accurate.
Is the actual usage condition consistent with the specified usage condition?
(2Clear pools or waterways, remove construction debris, and check if the low water level in the intake pool meets the equipment installation requirements.
(3Should be performed by a qualified electrician, using0~500VMegohmmeter(High-voltage electric motor for0~2500VMegohmmeter)Ensure the motor main cable three-core wire-to-ground cold-state insulation resistance is not less than5Megaohm(The insulation resistance of high-voltage motors must not be less than32Megaohm)Prohibit the use of a megohmmeter to inspect control cables to prevent damaging the electrical components inside the pump, and instead, use a multimeter to check the control cable wires.

At greater distances, account for line losses by increasing the cable's cross-sectional area. Minimize joints as much as possible, and seal the joints for optimal performance.

(5The pump is equipped with a dedicated control cabinet. Please carefully read the manual before use and check if the equipment wiring is correct, if the starting mechanism is smooth, if the contacts are good, if the metal housing of the starting equipment is reliably grounded, check for any loose connections at all wiring points, and retighten each one again.
(6The power cable, ground wire, and control cable on the pump should be connected to the terminal blocks of the control cabinet (box) one by one.
(7The grounding wire of the pump is a two-color wire (yellow)./Green), it is mandatory to connect securely for safety assurance.
(8Check the motor's rotation direction. Before the initial installation and start-up of the water pump, or after each reinstallation, the rotation direction should be checked. The method is: momentarily start the water pump and observe if the impeller's rotation direction matches the one indicated on the label. If the rotation direction is not consistent, simply swap the positions of any two phases in the three-phase wiring. If multiple water pumps are connected to the same control cabinet or terminal box, each pump must be checked individually.
(9When using a float switch for automatic control of the pump, the water inflow to the pool and the pump's outflow should be calculated to determine the pump's hourly operation according to regulations.Multiple start-ups determine the on/off position of the float ball pump.

Jiangsu Du'an Environmental ProtectionSubmersible pumps are typically installed using an automatic coupling (hereinafter referred to as auto-coupling) method. The auto-coupling system mainly consists of quick connectors, drainage bases, guides, and guide mounting brackets. During installation, the pump body and quick connector are tightly connected with bolts. The drainage base is first secured to the pool with anchor bolts, and the quick connector then moves the pump along the guides, automatically coupling with the drainage base through the auto-coupling sealing surface. Once installed, the entire pump body and motor section are connected together via the pump's outlet and inlet flanges. The connection between the pump's outlet and the auto-coupling base is sealed with a rubber gasket. The submersible pump is suspended in the air via the auto-coupling system, and its own weight presses the gasket tightly, ensuring reliable sealing between pipes.
