1. The top surface of the machine frame must be leveled, with an allowable tolerance of 0.50‰. The output shaft of the reducer is connected to the vertical shaft with a spline coupling. The coupling has three pin holes, each equipped with a shear safety pin to act as a torque cutoff for over-torque protection, serving to safeguard the entire machine.
2. During the trial run, the entire machine must operate under no load for at least 2 hours, ensuring smooth operation with noise below 80 dB. Load-bearing trial operation should last for at least 24 hours.
3. The centrifugal bearing and thrust bearing assembly at the top of the vertical shaft should be lubricated with grease, ensuring good lubrication.
4. At the bottom of the vertical shaft, above the sludge hopper, install sliding bearings and nylon bushes, lubricated with clean water under pressure. A Dg15 lubricating water pipe must be set up, extending from outside the pool to the bottom, buried at the bottom of the pool. The outer surface of the pipe must not be higher than the surface of the pool bottom, and it should extend outward from the side of the sludge hopper, connecting to the pipe fitting of the sliding bearing. Introduce normal pressure clean water to ensure good lubrication before starting the test run. During normal operation, it is also necessary to connect the pressure clean water before starting the vehicle to maintain good underwater bearing lubrication.

Suspended Central Drive Sludge Scrapper, featuring central drive with high torque and energy-saving design. It distributes water through an upper inlet pipe, utilizing a flow-regulating tube for even distribution, central sludge extraction, and peripheral drainage. Ideal for scraping and removing sludge in various circular sludge thickening ponds. Also suitable for municipal wastewater and similar types of wastewater (petrochemical, papermaking industries, etc.). The sludge has a light specific gravity, less than1.2T/m² non-settling sludge at the pool bottom, etc., typically does not require a scum刮除function; slanted plates or slotted pipes can be installed within the pool to enhance sedimentation efficiency.
The operation of the suspended central drive scraper is simple, requiring only that the user regularly and timely turn on and off the machine and add lubricating oil as per instructions. During this process, attention should be paid to:
1. If the wheel is made of rubber, avoid spilling oil on the wheel during lubrication, as the oil can severely corrode the rubber.
2. Drive the reducer with lubricating oil. The walking wheel bearings, center bearings, and center large gear ring require regular lubrication with grease. Pay special attention to the lubrication and protection of the center bearing, as repairing or replacing it can be extremely difficult if the bearing is damaged due to lack of oil.
3. If the wheel is made of steel, pay close attention to the deformation of the rail. Due to the lower stability of the circular rail compared to straight rail, it may shift from its fixed position due to thermal expansion and contraction, vibration, and other reasons, leading to poor engagement between the rail and the steel wheel, and causing "chewing rail" phenomenon.
4. Ensure the brush holder box remains dry for optimal brush contact. Replace brushes promptly if worn or springs fail to function, to prevent issues like phase loss in power supply or failure in monitoring signals. Pay special attention to prevent short circuits between the monitoring circuit and the power supply circuit, as this could introduce 380V voltage to the monitoring computer, resulting in significant losses or safety accidents.
5. When a suspended central drive scraper is rigidly connected to a truss, if there's sediment hardening or large foreign objects at the bottom of the pool, it can cause a sharp increase in resistance, leading to the scraper's damage. Therefore, when restarting after a long downtime, caution is necessary. If needed, use high-pressure water or compressed air to loosen it before restarting.
6. Once a year, empty the sedimentation pond, inspect the submerged part of the scraper, promptly repair and maintain corroded metal components, and clean the debris accumulated in the 15-inch outlet of the flow stabilizer tube.
7. For centrally driven sludge scrapers, ensure timely replenishment of the lubricant on the shear pin to maintain its overload protection function. Due to the high torque of the drive unit, if the scraping resistance exceeds the permissible limit and the shear pin is rusty and stuck, it may cause deformation of the main shaft. 8. The incoming sludge to the concentration pond is often intermittent, yet the scraper must continuously operate to maintain the sludge's fluidity. Sometimes, for various reasons, the pond may not receive sludge for extended periods, but if there's sludge in the pond, the scraper cannot be stopped. If a prolonged shutdown occurs due to maintenance, power outages, or other reasons and there is sludge in the pond, re-starting should pay special attention to the potential for significant resistance caused by the sludge that has solidified at the bottom of the pond.
Regular maintenance and care can enhance the lifespan of overhead center-drive mud scrapers and improve their operational efficiency.
