The Duwan Environmental Protection 350ZQB-70 Submersible Axial Flow Pump Station has experienced rapid growth due to its simple civil engineering, low construction cost, easy maintenance and management, straightforward installation, ease of automation, high reliability, and environmental enhancement.
Key Equipment for Submersible Pump StationSubmersible pump (also known as a submersible pump), has...QZType Submersible Axial Flow PumpQHThe type of submersible mixed-flow pump is an integrated electromechanical product that combines an electric motor with an axial-flow pump and a mixed-flow pump, serving as an upgraded replacement for the traditional long shaft axial-flow and mixed-flow pumps.
Submersible pumps and traditional long shaft pumps share consistent usage scenarios, inlet and outlet water conditions, and characteristic parameters. Additionally, they possess the following notable advantages:
◎ Total investment savings in pump station project30%Above.
◎ Construction cycle savings40%Above.
◎ Aircraft Installation Time Savings95%Above.
◎ Aircraft Weight Reduction50%Above.
◎ Eliminate floodwall investment for pump station.
◎ Low maintenance costs
◎ Zero operational noise, easy to operate, and suitable for automated operation.
◎ Low ground elevation allows for the elimination of a pump house structure, and even the construction of pump stations below ground level.

Axial flow pumps typically do not use an outlet valve to regulate flow rate; instead, they often adjust the flow rate by changing the impeller speed, adjusting the pump's inlet guide vanes, or altering the blade installation angle.
1. Variable Speed Control
Similar to centrifugal pumps, axial flow pumps can achieve multiple performance curves by changing the rotational speed, keeping the operating point in the high-efficiency zone. Variable speed regulation has gained increasing application in large axial flow pumps due to its ease of adjustment.
2. Inlet guide vane adjustment
Axial flow pumps can be equipped with guide vanes at the inlet, which modify the pre-selected intensity of the liquid flow entering the pump to alter its characteristic curve. Guide vane adjustment is suitable for situations where there is a small range of flow variation but a large range of head variation.
3. Blade installation angle adjustment
The adjustment of the blade installation angle is equivalent to changing the pump's specific speed, which is suitable for applications requiring a wide range of flow rates with a relatively narrow range of head changes. The semi-adjustable blade design, which requires disassembly of the pump for each adjustment, is less commonly used. The fully adjustable axial flow pumps are equipped with hydraulic or mechanical adjustment mechanisms. The hydraulic adjustment mechanism, derived from the blade regulation structure of hydraulic turbines, offers the advantage of a high output torque, but the oil system is complex and is generally used for high-power applications.2500kWThe above large axial flow pump. Mechanical regulating mechanisms are generally used for power2500kWThe following axial flow pumps are being gradually replaced by variable speed regulation due to the complexity of the adjustment mechanism, which results in relatively lower reliability for blade installation angle adjustments.
Installation of Vertical Axial Flow Pumps
Axial flow pumps are typically vertical, with the impeller submerged underwater. However, there are also horizontal or inclined axial flow pumps. Vertical axial flow pumps have two types of blade structures: fixed and adjustable. The operating conditions of large axial flow pumps refer mainly to the flow rate)Regular adjustments are often necessary during operation. Adjusting the blade installation angle allows the pump to maintain high efficiency across various operating conditions. The blade installation angle for small pumps is typically fixed.
In new pump station projects, submersible axial flow pumps can be conveniently used as replacements. In the renovation of existing pump stations, submersible pumps can be updated. The submersible axial flow pump models are primarily suitable for the following situations:
◎ Agricultural irrigation and drainage
◎ Municipal stormwater and light wastewater discharge.
◎ Process water and cooling water for industry
◎ Water Diversion Project of the Water Conservancy Corporation
