Firstly, it is crucial to address surface treatment during construction. All surface attachments, such as weld slag on pipe surfaces, must be thoroughly cleaned, especially for pipelines that require major repairs.
Two: If the viscoelastic anti-corrosion tape transported to the scene is not to be used immediately, it should be stored properly. When stacking the tape, the principle of not damaging the anti-corrosion layer should be adhered to, and it is suggested that soft materials can be placed between the anti-corrosion layers.
Thirdly, we focus on the patching and sealing work. During the repair, the damaged areas should be trimmed. The wrapping method can be used for patching, and when sealing, the loose parts of the anticorrosive coating should be removed, and it's better to keep the sealing area dry.
Be mindful of these three points regarding the usage of viscoelastic anti-corrosion belts during installation. We will continue to introduce more related content in the future. Stay tuned for more updates!
