430 Stainless Steel, National Standard Grade: 1Cr17. The 400 series stainless steel is ferritic and can be called rust-proof iron. The 430 rust-proof iron has excellent corrosion resistance and is a general-purpose steel grade. It has better thermal conductivity than austenitic stainless steel, a lower coefficient of thermal expansion, resistance to thermal fatigue, and good mechanical properties at the weld joints. It is used in architectural decoration, fuel nozzle components, household appliances, and electrical components. The corrosion-resistant performance of 00Cr20Ni25Mo4.5Cu steel is primarily developed to address corrosion issues. It also resists corrosion by any concentration and temperature of vinegar under normal pressure. Its corrosion resistance is excellent in -409 stainless steel round bars, secondary investment in 409 stainless steel round bars, and during vinegar assimilation. According to the GB1223-75 T method, the intercrystalline corrosion tendency of 00Cr20Ni25Mo4.5Cu steel is demonstrated, showing a tendency to weaken when the steel contains 0.038% C. This steel requires sensitization for more than one hour to exhibit intercrystalline corrosion. Therefore, for 409 stainless steel round bars, even when the welding thickness of the component does not exceed 30mm, there is no risk of intercrystalline corrosion as long as the welding process is appropriate. The pitting potential measurement and pitting test indicate that 00Cr20Ni25Mo4.5Cu is superior to 00Cr18Ni10 and 00Cr18Ni14Mo2 in terms of low-grade Cr-Ni austenitic steel. The 5Cu steel contains 25% Ni, hence its resistance to stress corrosion is superior to that of the common Cr-Ni austenitic steel. To put it simply, when 18-8, 18-12-mo stainless steel shows stress corrosion cracking in a chloride ion-containing water medium, the 409 stainless steel round bar, and selecting 00Cr20Ni25Mo4.5Cu can often prevent the occurrence of work.
