06Cr23Ni13 corresponds to the American grade 309S.
Properties and Uses: Better corrosion and heat resistance than 0Cr19Ni9.
Features: Can withstand repeated heating below 980°C, with high high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance, as well as anti-carburization properties.
Application: Furnace Materials. 309S: (0Cr23Ni13)
06Cr23Ni13 is a sulfur-containing free-cutting stainless steel, used primarily in applications requiring excellent free cutting and high surface finish.
309L is a variant of the lower carbon content 309 stainless steel, suitable for welding applications. The lower carbon content minimizes the precipitation of carbides in the heat-affected zone near the weld, which can lead to intergranular corrosion (welding erosion) in stainless steel in certain environments.
Stainless steel plates feature a smooth surface, high plasticity, toughness, and mechanical strength, and are resistant to corrosion from gases, solutions, and other media. They are an alloy steel that is not prone to rust, though not entirely rustproof.
