904L super-austenitic stainless steel is a low-carbon, high-nickel, molybdenum austenitic corrosion-resistant steel, exclusively introduced from France's H·S Company. It boasts excellent activation-passivation transition capabilities, exceptional corrosion resistance, and good resistance to corrosion in non-oxidizing environments such as acetic, formic, and methanol. It also exhibits excellent resistance to pitting corrosion in neutral chloride-containing media. Additionally, it has good resistance to crevice corrosion and stress corrosion. Suitable for concentrations below 70°C, it maintains excellent corrosion resistance in any concentration and temperature of acetic acid and its mixtures under atmospheric pressure.
