Chemical Composition
The chemical composition of this alloy is divided into three categories: Standard Composition, Composition, and High Purity Composition, as listed in Table 1-1. The Composition reduces carbon and increases niobium based on the Standard Composition, thereby reducing the amount of niobium carbide, decreasing fatigue sources, and enhancing the quantity of strengthening phases, improving fatigue resistance, and increasing the purity and overall performance of the material.
GH4169 alloy for nuclear applications requires the control of boron content (with other elements unchanged), with the specific content to be协商 determined by the two parties involved in the process. When ω(B) ≤ 0.002%, it is differentiated from the GH4169 alloy used in the aerospace industry.BrandPart Number GH4169A.
