GH2036
Material Grade: GH2036 (GH36) High Temperature Alloy
GH2036 (GH36) High-Temperature Alloy Overview:
GH2036(GH36) is a precipitation-hardened iron-based superalloy composed of elements such as chromium, molybdenum, and nickel, with approximately 8% nickel content. GH2036(GH36) exhibits excellent thermal and cold working properties, a simple alloy composition, stable microstructure, and good physical and mechanical properties between 600-650°C. It also offers good machinability and a high coefficient of expansion.

Section 4: GH2036 (GH36) High-Temperature Alloy Characteristics and Applications:
1. The GH2036 (GH36) high-temperature alloy is an austenitic alloy steel with high strength below 650°C, and it also boasts excellent hot working and machining properties. It exhibits stable oxidation resistance in air at 700-750°C, but is prone to intergranular corrosion at 700-750°C and higher temperatures in gas media. The alloy has a high coefficient of expansion, and during production and use, GH2036 discs are prone to large grain sizes and cracks. Researchers are currently exploring new alloys to replace it.
2. GH2036 (GH36) High-Temperature Alloy Applications: Used for turbine disks, insulating plates, shrouds, load-bearing ring fasteners, and other components operating below 650°C.
