(1) Ensure the concrete interface for the waterstop is flat and dry. Clean off any debris, dirt, and loose materials before installation. Secure the waterstop in the predetermined installation location using steel nails or adhesive. However, the side with the grouting tube must be placed against the original concrete interface.

(2) During the connection of water-swelling gasket strips for grouting pipes, the parallel lap method is employed, ensuring no break points in the middle. The joints are reinforced with steel nails, and the pre-assembled grouting connection tubes on the gasket strips are then slipped over to connect to the other equal gasket strip for the two-way joint.

(3) One tee fitting is installed at approximately thirty meters based on the length of the installed waterstop. One end of the tee is inserted into the waterstop, while the other end is inserted into the grouting connection pipe. The T-shaped end should be inserted into the standby grouting to be ready for chemical grout injection in case of leakage through the gap.

(4) It is essential to securely bond the grouting connection pipes within the sealing strips to the tees, ensuring that the grouting tubes of the installed sealing strips are completely unobstructed. The spare grouting tube installed on the tee should be placed inward towards the interior wall.

Each box contains one bottle of grouting tube adhesive (used for bonding the grouting tube to the two-way and three-way connections on the water stopper), as well as one spare grouting tube for insertion into the interior wall connected to the three-way.
