Everyone knows that refrigerators cannot be disassembled for transportation; they must be handled carefully and not tilted excessively. For overall transportation, the refrigerator must be packaged. What materials are used for packaging a refrigerator, and how to use them? Jin Yanzi Moving Company shares this information with you and introduces the process.

Shrink-wrap Packaging for Refrigerators
During the transportation of the double-door refrigerator, it is essential not only to ensure that the refrigerator's outer shell remains undamaged but also to be cautious of any potential dings on the door and inside. Therefore, the refrigerator is initially secured using wrapping film to stabilize its exterior.
Bubble Wrap Multi-Layer Packaging for Refrigerators
After the refrigerator door is secured, the next step is to protect the surface. Bubble wrap is an ideal packaging material for its pressure resistance, shock absorption, and wear resistance. Firstly, the two movers from Jin Yanzi worked together to move the refrigerator onto a layer of bubble wrap and then secured the bottom with sealing tape. Next, they wrapped the sides and top of the refrigerator with multiple layers of bubble wrap, of course, also securing them with tape.
Cardboard Packaging for Refrigerators
Generally, few people keep the original packaging of their refrigerator, so the technicians will wrap the refrigerator in cardboard before moving.

Next step, the master craftsmen wrap the cardboard boxes with stretch film, secure the refrigerator, and prevent damage during transportation. Additionally, all items inside the refrigerator, including frozen goods, must be cleared out two days prior to the move. During the move, the refrigerator will inevitably tilt, and if there are items inside, it may damage the refrigerator's inner lining.
