Jinan Heat Exchanger Units demonstrate high efficiency during operation, and are favored by schools and other venues for their compact structure, reliable operation, and user-friendly, intuitive operation. When such highly-rated plate heat exchangers encounter issues in use, how should we address them? Join us as we learn from the Shandong Plate Heat Exchanger manufacturer!

During the operation of heat exchanger units, noise-related malfunctions may occur, causing inconvenience to both the equipment and the staff. After analysis by relevant personnel, Jinan Plate-type Heat Exchanger manufacturer points out the following reasons for the noise emitted by heat exchanger units:

One: The current noise-dampening cover of the heat exchange unit only considers sound absorption without implementing noise-damping treatment. After the sound waves pass through the absorbent surface, their energy is somewhat reduced (however, the sound waves filtered out at this point are mainly mid-to-high frequencies, with little to no effect on low-frequency isolation). The sound waves that pass through the absorbent layer also excite the noise-dampening cover.

Vibration in the body steel structure.

It is important to note that the foundation platform for the equipment installation was not equipped with matching damping vibration suppression at the beginning (which is also a major cause of ground vibration near the surface).

The ventilation system of the existing noise-insulating hood only features simple louvers at the inlets and outlets. For heat exchangers primarily emitting medium and low-frequency noises, these louvers offer almost no isolation. Additionally, they do not meet the operational cooling requirements of the existing equipment (the lack of a drainage design hinders the assurance of adequate ventilation volume, and the cooling demands are not met).

Four, when the external piping of a heat exchange unit passes through a sound-insulating enclosure without being sealed, cushioned, and damped, it may cause structural resonance with the enclosure.

Five, Heat exchanger unit manufacturers remind that pipelines, conduits, and cable troughs entering and exiting rooms have not been treated with soundproofing and noise reduction. To fundamentally solve the fault issues of heat exchanger units, it is essential to strengthen the maintenance and care of the equipment, which is the feasible approach.

Six, The spacious server room, with smooth walls and no obvious sound-absorbing surfaces, tends to create a situation where reflected sound waves overlap with the original sound waves (incident sound waves), thereby progressively enhancing the echo noise within the server room.

Seven, if there is no corresponding sound insulation treatment, the same-type machines operating simultaneously may experience resonance at the same frequency. Additionally, the loud humming noise from the motor unit in the adjacent room is also an important source of noise that should not be overlooked. Therefore, it is advisable to consider adding soundproofing panels and improving the machinery.

During the operation of plate heat exchangers, it's important to remember not to panic when encountering malfunctions. First, shut off the power and inspect the issue. Additionally, regular maintenance and upkeep of the equipment should be performed to prevent problems from arising at critical times.
