The primary function of a sewage lift pump is to transfer wastewater from one pond to another or from one treatment stage to another, facilitating the transmission of wastewater and is commonly used in the wastewater treatment process.
Wastewater lift pumps are placed at the inlet of the wastewater treatment plant. The wastewater transported through the sewage pipeline has a lower water level, requiring the use of wastewater lift pumps to pump the low-level wastewater into the subsequent treatment process equipment. Many wastewater treatment facilities are set up at different elevations, utilizing the difference in water levels to allow wastewater to flow automatically to the next facilities, thereby reducing energy consumption. Another function is to pump the wastewater treated in the previous pond to the next pond for the next different wastewater treatment process. Such wastewater lift pumps are primarily high-head and high-flow, meeting the requirements for rapid water transport and enhancing the efficiency of wastewater treatment.
Pumps primarily add wastewater treatment chemicals to the wastewater pond, causing neutralization reactions with certain pollutants in the wastewater to remove contaminants and purify the water body. The treatment chemicals are mixed in the dosing tank, then blended evenly by a mixer before being poured into the solution tank. The dosing pump吸取the liquid from the solution tank, mixes it with the working medium, and delivers it to the polluted water body, achieving the addition goal. Different wastewater treatment chemicals have varying physical and chemical properties, so the appropriate pump is selected based on their characteristics. The stability and accuracy of the process are also factors to consider.
Sludge Pump
The primary function of sludge pumps is to extract sludge produced after wastewater treatment from the bottom of the pond for further sludge processing. They are primarily used in ponds that generate sludge, such as sedimentation ponds, sludge ponds, biochemical ponds, and filtration ponds. Sludge pumps deliver the generated sludge to a press filter, which removes the moisture from the sludge, thereby achieving sludge treatment. The pressure of the sludge pump determines the moisture content of the sludge it pumps, which has a direct impact on the subsequent sludge treatment by the press filter.
