The large sprocket for the dryer is a product widely used in various manufacturing industries. It is not used independently and requires combination with other parts to achieve its full effect. Generally, there are two types of connections between the large sprocket and the drum. Let's delve into them in detail.
Firstly, tangential connection
The large gear of the dryer is fixed on a spring in the tangential direction of the cylinder. The spring plate is typically made of 15-20mm thick steel plate, wider than the gear, with one end tangentially attached to the垫板 and the cylinder, and the other end bolted to the large gear. A pad can be inserted between them to adjust the center position of the large gear relative to the cylinder, ensuring alignment.
This type of connection offers great flexibility, reducing the impact on the large and small gears during the bending, opening, and stopping of the drinking tube. The downside is that it is somewhat cumbersome to install, with difficulty in accurately locating the center, which makes the gear operation challenging. Second, axial connection
The large gear is mounted on an elastic steel plate parallel to the cylinder body. An oil pad seat is placed on the cylinder, with two steel plates welded in the middle, which are welded and fixed to the cylinder along with the pad. The large gear is fixed to the steel plate with bolts. During the installation of the transmission equipment, the centerlines of the large and small gears should be kept balanced.
