The aluminum ash belt ball mill, also known as the aluminum ash slag ball mill or the special-purpose aluminum ash ball mill, grinds aluminum ash, a byproduct of the electrolytic aluminum production process. The primary components of aluminum ash are alumina, metallic aluminum, and some impurities, with alumina and metallic aluminum holding significant economic value. However, they must be separated before use.
