The 20GNC25 Aviation Cadmium-Nickel Alkaline Battery serves as a secondary chemical power source, primarily used as an auxiliary emergency power supply for aircraft. It can directly or indirectly start the aircraft engine and provide a 24V emergency DC power supply before the aircraft engine starts or in the event of engine failure.
The battery pack is composed of 20 cadmium-nickel full-sintered batteries connected in series within a stainless steel casing, which is equipped with a plug for connection to the aircraft. The battery pack is structurally robust and capable of withstanding general shock and vibration conditions.
