Compared to constant frequency AC power supply systems, the use of a 270V high-voltage DC power supply system offers advantages such as high power generation efficiency, lightweight power generation and distribution systems, lightweight power supplies for avionics equipment, high reliability, ease of uninterrupted power supply, and low lifecycle costs. According to the research results of the U.S. on power supply systems for large transport aircraft, the comprehensive performance, reliability, maintainability, and weight indicators of the high-voltage DC power supply system are good, making it an attractive power supply option. However, it is not yet being adopted in trunk aircraft. This is because it involves changes to the power supply system, which would necessitate a large-scale replacement of electrical equipment or the addition of numerous power converters to existing equipment. Therefore, the initial consideration for trunk aircraft is to locally employ high-voltage DC power in necessary situations, such as using high-voltage DC power exclusively for the flight control system. In the new generation of aircraft models, 270V is increasingly being considered as the standard power supply voltage.
