The distributed power system is suitable for powering large workstations (such as image processing stations) and large digital electronic switching systems, featuring: modular DC/DC converter components; easy implementation of N+1 power redundancy and load capacity expansion; reduced current and voltage drops on the 48V bus; even heat distribution and easy heat dissipation design; good transient response; and the ability to replace failed modules online.
There are two types of structure for distributed power systems currently: one is a two-level structure, and the other is a three-level structure.
