Aviation Power Supply: Proper Care for Lithium Batteries

Lithium-ion batteries are affected by higher temperatures, so they should not be stored in environments with excessive heat. If operated above the specified 35°C temperature, the battery's charge will deplete faster than usual, resulting in reduced runtime. Charging the battery under such conditions will cause even more damage. Even storing batteries in hot environments can inevitably lead to quality degradation. Therefore, maintaining an optimal operating temperature is a good way to extend the lifespan of lithium-ion batteries. Aircraft ground power, 36V aircraft power, 400Hz variable frequency power, 115/200V power, 27V DC power, 400Hz power, aircraft power.

Battery life can be negatively affected by low temperatures as well. If lithium-ion batteries are used for extended periods at temperatures below 4C, their lifespan will decrease, and some smartphones' original lithium batteries may even fail to charge in cold conditions. However, there's no need to worry excessively; this is a temporary situation, distinct from usage in high-temperature environments. Once the temperature rises, the battery's molecules will quickly regain their previous charge.

Battery maintenance for lithium-ion batteries should avoid extended exposure to both high and low temperatures. Keeping them at normal temperatures will prolong their lifespan.
