We understand that power supply products, in addition to rated power, have another term called "Overload Protection," abbreviated as "OPP." Overload Protection refers to the continuous increase in the load of the power supply, which, once it reaches a certain point, automatically shuts off the power to prevent damage to the power supply or other components of the computer due to overcurrent. The OPP value is typically around 1.3 times the rated power. Some manufacturers set the OPP too high, which is actually unsafe. There is a range between the rated power and OPP, for example, the new Cold Drill has a rated power of 300W with an OPP of 370W. The area between 300-370W is a "blind zone." If the power supply remains in this zone for an extended period (usually several seconds), it could potentially lead to the burning of the power supply or other computer components.
